The Sunpak 2-Way Bubble Level slides into your camera or camcorder's standard shoe mount to provide a simple, accurate indication of whether or not your framing is flush with the horizon. Indoors, your framing can be squared with walls and floors for professional-looking photos. The level includes two bubbles that cover both portrait and landscape orientations, with two mounts to accommodate the two modes.

Works as expected. Fits tightly on my D300. If you do not mind changing position of the level when you go from landscape t portrait, then there is no need to spend extra 10 or more bucks on more expensive 3D or electronic levels.

You would not build a house with this. calibration is a bit off but good enough. I took some pictures at night anticipating to stitch a whole bunch together and this gadget would have been very useful.

Comments about Sunpak 2-Way Bubble Level:
My photography requires precise leveling. I generally use a small level made by LS Starrett, a precision tool maker. So, I checked the level with the Starrett and found it to be spot on accurate.
It fits very snuggly into the flash shoe and has several ways to view vertical and horizontal levels. Highly recommended!

I love my new Sunpac two way bubble hot shoe level. The fit is snug so it won't fall off the camera. Level horizons are a must for a landscape photographer. I would recommend you get one too!

Comments about Sunpak 2-Way Bubble Level:
There's nothing worse that going on a shoot, getting 'spot on' amazing shots, then coming home to see the shots are all "off" a bit; the horizon's not lined up correctly, the photo is slightly crooked. What "looks" perfect through the viewfinder, in fact is not lined up correctly either left to right or up to down. Some post-processing software can 'fix' this after the fact, but not all software. If you are a serious photograher, this level of attention to detail matters. I've been surprised to 'think' I'm accurately lined up, then see the bubble level shows me wrong. Pluses are these tiny light-weight levels mount easily and fast and take up very little room. Minuses are they are so small, they can easily get lost or fall out of your pack. I keep two in my bag; eventually I'll need the second one. I buy extra to give as birthday presents to my photo buddies. Has always been a hit.
Comments about Sunpak 2-Way Bubble Level:
Middle of the road in price, not too sensitive so it is easy to use, seems well made, and assembled. Easier to use than the round spirit levels.
