I bought two of these cards for a Canon 7D I purchased recently, hoping that the speed would be able to keep up with the camera. This card can provide an impressive burst at 8fps RAW, and for jpegs, I got bored holding the shutter down before the card slowed.
This card also performed admirably shooting HD video, with no slowdowns. I've always used Lexar cards due to the high build quality that performs in the hottest deserts or most frozen landscapes, and these are no different.
The only gripe I have is the high cost, but I suppose that's the price to pay for peace of mind being able to focus on photography instead of equipment.

the 2 cards, formated in comera, worked fine during capture.
They where very unreadable to connect to computers, even with different lexar card readers and connections, USB-Firewire, at time connect after long time and then disconnect again, other time never connected.
I am sure it is not my equipment because all other CF cards work just fine, all 16 of them.
Disappointed in Lexar

Comments about Lexar 16GB Professional 400x CompactFlash Card (One Card):
As a Professional Photographer I use this card everyday. The speed it gives between shots is amazing. Other CF cards would make the camera show "busy" and would create a pause in shooting. This card eliminates that problem.

Comments about Lexar 16GB Professional 400x CompactFlash Card (One Card):
I ordered this since I was going to be on a long 2 day trip taking lots of photos with little or no chance to back up the shots. The card was amazing. I shot mostly in JPG and was able to take roughly 2400 photos on my Canon 7D. I did take some shots in RAW/JPG and I never had any problems with transfer that slowed me down. For a good sized card this is a great deal.

I realy like the speed and the size of thix CF Card. It was an upgrade from SanDisk 4GB Extreme III and IV after starting to shoot RAW. Speed is very good for my needs and so is its size: 16 GB gives you an interesting range of around 1000 pics according to resolution.

Purchased two of these cards to take with me to Yellowstone Park in Wyoming and they never let me know. They were fast for my Digital Rebel XTi and did a wonderful job. Took me almost 800 shots in before my camera even started registering less than 999 shots left. Never even needed the second card, but glad I took it along with me just in case.

Got this card with the Canon 7D. No issue so far. This card is fast enough to keep up with the 7D's 8fps burst mode, and when shooting 1080p videos. Would recommend this card.
Comments about Lexar 16GB Professional 400x CompactFlash Card (One Card):
Nikon D1X will not except high capacity flash cards. The high capacity flash card works well with a Nikon D300.
Suggest you do the research before buying flash cards for your camera's.

Comments about Lexar 16GB Professional 400x CompactFlash Card (One Card):
Was not sure what I would need for a card with the 8 frames per second and the HD video of the 7D...this card has worked great. I have yet to fill the card so I am not sure exactly how many pictures or how much video it can hold, but the LCD shows that I have room for 999 more pictures on the card at all times. I thought I may need the 600X but am glad I did not spend the extra money since this has worked fine. I have rattled off (at 8 FPS) pictures for 15-20 seconds and the camera has not slowed and the buffer empties quickly.

Comments about Lexar 16GB Professional 400x CompactFlash Card (One Card):
I had a Wedding and only owned 1 16gb CF card, which is a SanDisk. I didn't want to spend on another one @ the same cost, therefore I found a Lexar one. Read the reviews, and decided to take a risk to buy it, to use during the Wedding. I had no trouble using this card as the definitely had a reliable high speed performance. I am looking to purchase another card soon.
