The 8GB E Series Walkman Video MP3 Player (Black) from Sony holds your music, videos, and photos for anytime, anywhere entertainment. In addition, the E Series also acts as an FM radio, alarm clock and sleep timer, and USB storage device.
With drag and drop file transfer you can arrange your personal media files from iTunes, Windows Media Player, and Internet Explorer with ease. Sony proprietary features, such as Clear Stereo and Clear Bass Audio Technologies, and the Digital Sound Enhancement Engine, take your compressed digital files and breathe life back into them.
When it comes to other features of the 8GB E Series Walkman, Sony's SensMe function helps you whip out the mood music in a nano-second. SensMe automatically places your music files into mood-based channels based on beats-per-minute. The Walkman also touts 50 hours of battery life for music playback, and 10 hours of battery life for video - both on a full charge. Headphones and a USB cable come included with the player for listening from day one.

This is my first MP3 player and it is great. I have not been disappointed. As other reviews have stated, all you need to do is download music onto your Windows Media player, sinc it to retrieve the music and it is ready to go. There are many adjustments for the sound and other options. I wish I would have gotten the 16gb, however as it apparently holds 4,000 songs or so. I paired this Sony walkman with a pair of Sennheiser PX200 II headphones and it's giving amazing sound. It is a bit touchy, however in the controls so make sure it is actually turned off when not in use. I also recommend getting the actual Sony silicone cover, which comes with a screen protector--trust me spend the $20 as anything you get off of [...] is a cheap piece of junk and does not fit this product, get the NWZ-N350 series silicone cover made by Sony.

This is a great MP3 player. It is simple but the sound from the headphones and playback is good. It holds a lot of songs and though I haven't used it for this purpose, I like that it can play back video. The MP3 player is small so I'm not sure what use you can really make with video playback compared to something like an iPod, but the capacity to do so is nice. Overall it's a really great bargain for what you get, I recommend this for someone looking for a simple device that holds a lot and works well without needing a lot of fancy extras.
