The Macally Peripherals ANTIFINP4 Anti-Fingerprint Screen Protective Overlay is designed to fit an Apple iPhone 4. It is made from an anti-smudge and glare resistant material that attaches with an easy application, non-damaging residue free adhesive. It prevents fingerprint smudges from forming on the screen. The overlay does not affect touch screen sensitivity. Two sheets of protective overlay that shields both the screen and the back of the phone are included.

I use the front and back anti-fingerprint and glare resistant overlay on my iPhone 4S. I enjoy the matte appearance and feel of the overlay. It works great reducing the appearance of smudges and fingerprint as well as cutting down the glare of direct light. It's not too thick and adheres easily to the front/back glass.
The material is durable, but don't expect it to protect your screen against anything remotely sharp. My wife put her phone in bag and happened to have her keys in there. When she took her phone out the overlay had a 1 inch gash in it, distorting the appearance of the screen.
One of my problem with the product is the fit. The overlay is not cut precisely for the screen area or home button. There is about 1 mm of space all around and because of this the screen shows. It has the appearance of a shiny band around edge of the screen. Another design flaw that bothers me is that the overlay does not cover the area below the home button. It's just stops almost as if someone cut a 1/4" notch out of the overlay. Other anti-fingerprint/glare overlays do not do this and they function without problem. The problem with the amount of exposed screen area is that dust, finger oils, etc. collect around the edges of the overlay.
Last but not least, this overlay reduces the resolution of the screen significantly-almost to the point that I have to squint because the images/words on the screen are blurry. Many of other brand anti-fingerprint/glare overlays do the same, but there are some I found that perform slightly better than this.
If you are as picky as I am then I would suggest seeing this and other anti-fingerprint/glare overlays in person before buying it online.

This screen protector does hide finger prints effectively, but it also diminishes the iPhone's amazing retina display. The screen looks almost "cloudy" once it's installed. I don't think I'd buy this product again.

I really wish I had ordered 2. There really isn't any serious issues with the product itself. The thing is...it is impossible to put on and not have any bubbles. I worked and worked and worked on getting it to lay down just right on the iPhone and press all the bubbles out. The problem was that after lifting and replacing it numerous times I actually bent the corner and then it was useless. I will say that the back side actually went on very easily and looks great but that is the side of the phone that really doesn't matter...

Actually, I don't find it easy to give a product a 1-star rating, but I should because I found this product to be a rather pointless waste of [$].When you remove the backing, the adhesive side of the sheet statically attracts dust out of the air - and even the very, very smallest dust particle create a huge noticeable bubble on this cover. And once that happens, it's done. If you have access to it, then applying this cover requires a totally static and dust-free environment. Not to mention it's difficult to line-up properly... and it's not 100% clear either. Not at all what I expected.
