The 1TB Solo External Hard Drive from ioSafe is an external USB 2.0 hard drive that features a sturdy, rugged enclosure. So rugged, in fact, that it is able to withstand fire, water, and can be bolted to a surface to prevent theft.
IoSafe is so certain that your data will remain safe, they include a 1-year DRS (Data Recovery Service) plan with this drive. Should the disk fail during the coverage period, ioSafe will professionally rescue your data -- no questions asked. The Solo is compatible with Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
- Fireproof -- Up to 1550°F for 30 Minutes
- DataCast endothermic fire insulation technology protects your data from extreme heat. The DataCast formulation forms a chemical bond with water molecules that, at temperatures above 160°F, releases water vapor to limit the internal temperature of the unit during a fire 1
