Comments about Arri AS-01 Lightweight Light Stand - 8.3':
we really Like that the locks are space out on on top of the other so you can line them up nice and neat! I like the all metal design heavy duty for lights. the locks are descently design they dont look like they are going to break off like the the old plastic locks. We use it here at a Video rental house we swear by this stand for our kits.

Comments about Arri AS-01 Lightweight Light Stand - 8.3':
I spent over 2 grand an on my Arri light kit. The lights are great quality but the stands leave much to be desired. My stands are notorious for slipping and not locking into place. If your not careful a light can come sliding down hard and fast on your hand. I expect better from Arri.

Comments about Arri AS-01 Lightweight Light Stand - 8.3':
I will use this stand for smaller lights and in that funtion this stand works great. It is very portable and light to carry. I also think it has a strong base.
I just wish it were 12 inches taller.
