The Panasonic HDC-SDT750 3D Camcorder puts high definition 3D recording literally in the palm of your hand. When attached, the VW-CLT1 3D Conversion Lens allows you to capture exciting 3D video to share with friends and family on the big screen. However, should you desire to shoot straight 1920 x 1080/60p HD video you can do so by removing the conversion lens, and utilizing the built-in Leica Dicomar Lens. In addition to recording 2D and 3D video, the SDT750 also captures still images in 3:2, 4:3, and 16:9 aspect ratios - going all the way up to 14.2MP resolution. However, no matter how or what you shoot the HDC-SDT750 records to SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards.
When it comes to the specs, the HDC-SDT750 packs in respectable numbers. The camera features Panasonic's 3MOS System, which is a 1/4.1" 3 chip CMOS sensor with 3 x 3.05MP for a total of 9.15MP. Hybrid Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.) helps to keep blur and motion a minimum, and 18x Intelligent Zoom allows close-up shots of far-off subjects. Other notable features include the 3" touch screen LCD, an electronic viewfinder, and the option to record audio with either 2.1 or 5.1 Dolby Digital audio.
In addition to the above mentioned specifications the SDT750 also touts microphone and headphone connections - a must for higher-quality audio and video recording. The camera also comes with a remote control for hands-free operation and a stylus pen for the touch screen display. The included HD Writer AE 2.6T software helps when editing on your PC in post production.
Note! A TV that is capable of side-by-side method 3D playback, 3D eyewear, and an HDMI cable connection are all required to play 3D images
With the addition of our new 3D conversion lens to our 700 series highly touted 3MOS System you can shoot 3D video using the same principle as human vision. Left-eye and right-eye images are simultaneously shot with two lenses. The SDT750 creates 3D images by artificially reproducing visual disparity.
Even without the 3D conversion lens attached, there are countless ways to enjoy the SDT750. This innovative camcorder takes an evolutionary leap forward from the many Panasonic models that have excited users worldwide. It is equipped with a wide range of sophisticated functions, including the 3MOS System, which features improved noise reduction (NR) technologies, 1080/60p recording, iA (Intelligent Auto) mode in the HYBRID O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilization), and a wealth of manual controls

Well I was very excited to finally be able to purchase my 2 new 3D camcorders. but when I got them home and begin to play with them I found the image is grainy when recording with the 3d lens, I cant upload video to my MAC G5 and start editing without coverting the video format. In fact I like the camerah better with out the 3d lens the picture quality is great without the 3d lens.....I didnt know that I would also have to have a 3D television to view the 3D movies I record. I went to [...] to view my recorded 3d movie but there was no difference with the glasses on or off that I was able to see. If someone knows something I dont know please help with these issues. More importantly how do I get it to upload video with my MAC G5!!!!!

Comments about Panasonic HDC-SDT750 3D Camcorder:
I have been taking pictures for several decades, but this is my first camcorder. Last fall I upgraded to a wonderful 55 inch TV and Blu-Ray player that can do 3D. Then, last winter my laptop died and the replacement has the horsepower to do some video editing. With those two things in place, the logical conclusion was to get something that would create HD video.I shopped hard on line and went to lots of stores. I looked at everything from DSLRs with video to camcorders. I became convinced that this model is as good as any top of the line consumer camcorder. And the price seemed to be discounted because of the ugly 3D lens and the bad reviews of that lens. If you throw away the lens and peel off the 3D sticker, you have the equal of other models and yet the price is lower. [...] The 3D lens does work despite the bad reviews. My 10 year old granddaughter took some eye popping 3D of her favorite dog. Apparently she was unaware of the bad reviews of the lens. So, priced a little below equal cameras that don't include the ugly lens, what else do you get? You get lots of cords that plug into everything, a remote that controls the camera both taking and playing video, a decent battery and external charger. You do have to buy a SD memory card and maybe an extra battery. I like this camcorder a lot and am having a wonderful time learning video with my granddaughters. I recommended it to anyone interested a camcorder.

I bought this camcorder from here for [$]. A Bargain, considering the newer models are more expensive with relatively the same features. I was originally going to purchase the TM900 but decided for this instead. Why you ask? This camcorder features a seperate battery charger, HDMI cable and 3D Lense. I plan on selling the lense as it is compatible with the newer camcorders to bring the overall cost even lower. It shoots great and is very easy to use.I live in Australia and the NTSC 1080/60p works find on my Plasma TV.A great buy. Thank you B&H.[...]

Comments about Panasonic HDC-SDT750 3D Camcorder:
I've had this camcorder a few weeks to use as a backup camera at concerts. I needed something smaller to maneuver thru crowds and wanted lots of manual functions. This packs all of that and produces a great image in low light. I've used the 3D somewhat sparingly so far because it automates almost all of the functions and there's no zoom with the 3D lens attached. But in 2D, it does a great job.

I use the product for Top notch music videos as well as home videos.
The camera is great on power consumption because there are no working internal parts when it comes to storing information..
the quality of picture still amazes me and I have had it for 2 weeks already!
I have done my research for you already this camera is up there with the more higher priced cameras! why pay more for less in my opinion and did I forget to mention 3D??? its a no brainer!! Just buy it you wont be mad!

Comments about Panasonic HDC-SDT750 3D Camcorder:
This 3MOS camcorder shoots 2D video at 1080P/60 that is stunningly good. The overall impression is that the image is perfect, however upon close examination minor compression artifact can be seen. The colors are lifelike and well saturated. Indoor lighting requires a manual white balance for color accuracy.
The 3D implementation is cost effective but results in a number of compromises. The focal length is fixed without zoom but most important is the reduction in both horizontal resolution and light throughput. The attachable 3D lens uses two optical paths to create the stereoscopic image which is recorded in side by side format. This cuts the horizontal resolution to less that half of 1920. The small aperture limits light throughput and the image suffers in less than the brightest light.
The camera is easy to align and easy to shoot in 3D as long as the limitations of the technique are followed. Subjects of interest must be 4 to 15 feet away and include front to back variation to create a good 3D effect. Playback in 3D is automatic on my Samsung plasma over HDMI. The playback has a little flicker which is annoying. This probably relates to the left/right image refresh rate being half of the video capture rate.
All in all, a very good and cost effective foray into 3D with room for much more expensive implementations on newer cameras which then will have better results. As a 2D camera this is nearly as good as it gets. As a 3D camera, well...it is 3D.

Comments about Panasonic HDC-SDT750 3D Camcorder:
Looks like Panny did it again. I'm a big fan of the older 24p cameras, and was reluctant to move to HD for fear of that "digital" look. I have to say, I'm growing to love 60p... it is the most "cinematic" HD I've seen yet (the 3 35mm chips certainly help).
The 3D is simple enough to set up and use, though most all of the in-camera playback options were obviously designed for matching Panny TVs (for 3D and 60p alike). If you want to see 3D on non-3D systems, you'll need to do some manual work in Vegas or Boris yourself to achieve the red-cyan effect from the side-by-side files the camera generates.
The big disappointment was that this model lacks the 32GB of internal memory that its non-3D cousins all have. I feel like I paid $400 for a 3D lens, and another $300 for memory... I could almost have a 2nd camera for that!
Overall, though, it is an amazing little camera with fantastic picture quality for the money. I doubt anything for under $3500 can really touch it. The scene modes (unlike in many cameras) really DO help make the image more vivid in each lighting situation, and the still photos it takes are surprisingly nice (again unlike the typical video camera), even when you pull stills from motion video files (which it does with the touch of a button).
Overall, it feels like a quality, precision instrument in your hands - and not like a prosumer "camcorder". Twist the focus ring or the LCD screen and you'll see what I mean. Panny delivered a great camera at a very modest cost, and aside from the lack of memory you can't really tell where they've cut the corners.

I record in clubs, my band. This is the first camcorder to capture great HD video without the "grain" most have. I've only used it twice in the clubs but, have also recorded in dim light outside. It way out performs my Sony HDR-SR11. It's very light weight as well.

VERY GOOD CAMERA ,
WEN YOU USE 3D YOU NEED TO SET UP THE LENS AND THAT THAT I DONT LIKE ITS TAKE ME TO LONG.
WEN YOU RECORD IN 3D YOU CANNOT USE THE ZOOM.
THE PRICE HIGH . I THINK WE STILL NEED TO WAIT FOR MORE FUTURES.
THE PICTURE GOOD, 3D PICTURE LOOKS GOOD.

Comments about Panasonic HDC-SDT750 3D Camcorder:
It is a very impressive 2d and 3d video recording. 3D movie in a 3d tv gets a very good 3d exposure, better than movie theaters. The camera is easy to control and to use controls. You can change settings easy and fast. The zoom is accurate and focus fast.

I use my camcorder for family video's, friends video's, co-workers video's. The 3D is just a novelty because nobody except me has a 3D tv. 3D is good. I like the extras such as external microphone, headset output, shoe for video light. My old high def. camcorder didn't have these extras. so far I haven't found anything that aren't so great about this camcorder. oops, just one thing, the video light that's designed for this camcorder, the lamp is tungsten, last's only 80 hours and the replacement bulb is only available in Austrailia
