The Analog Way EKS400 Multi Layer Seamless Switcher (Eikos LE) is a high-resolution mixer and matrix (12 x 2) switcher with 4 scalers and is suitable for high-end AV presentations. In addition to DVI-D, universal analog, and SD/HD-SDI inputs, it supports SDTV, EDTV, HDTV, and computer formats up to 2K. It is equipped with analog and digital outputs (main and preview) and offers RGBHV, DVI, SD/HD-TV analog, and SD/HD-SDI outputs.
Operation can be set to mixer and native matrix modes in the EKS400. In mixer mode, the switcher offers effects between each layer, whereas the matrix mode offers PIP features in the mirror mode. Live layers can be customized using attributes such as borders, movements, zoom, or transparency. Along with features such as mosaic preview, dynamic fit, and mirror effects, the EKS400 seamless switcher offers high-resolution digital processing with adjustments for chrominance, luminance and DSK (downstream keying).
The EKS400's large graphic VFD screen with control knobs and buttons offers easy and fast access to menus and adjustments. The multi-layer seamless switcher also comes with features such as animated logo, frame store, smooth move effect, memory presets, internal test patterns, audio breakaway, and audio delay compensation.
