I needed more hard drive space but was nervous about the new LaCie drives with USB 3.0 due to the reviews they have been getting. I bought the 2TB internal drive and am very glad I did. It was easy to install, works beautifully, and is a bit faster than an external drive. I plan to edit (video) all my active projects on the internal drive and just use the external drives for storage.
