What more can I say?! The facts are all there. When it comes to the ultimate video editing computers Apple is the "go to" configuration. Whether your using FCP or AVID you want a Mac Pro pushing your software making your system fast and reliable. I picked this computer because it was the middle of the road. Everything I need in power right now with a little room to grow into the future. I upgraded to 12GB of RAM and my machine is purring. I am very pleased and would recommend this computer to my fellow editing friends. [...]

Comments about Apple Mac Pro 6-Core Desktop Computer Workstation:
This computer performs really well. One concern I had was noise levels due to fans to cool off the higher end graphics card and processor. Turns out, it runs very quietly, even while gaming at max settings or working and converting video at the same time.
It's really fun to watch activity monitor while you are converting video, playing a game, etc and see the processor working at 700%+ and everything is still running smoothly.
I threw in a couple of 2TB drives and the installation was ridiculously simple. I'm waiting on prices of SSD drives to go down to replace my boot drive with one.
All in all, great computer, no regrets at all.

Comments about Apple Mac Pro 6-Core Desktop Computer Workstation:
This was an upgrade that was really overdue. I've could've gotten any build of the Mac Pro series, but decided for the middle, with the upgrade of memory and video card. Big investment, but I needed something that was going to rip though my workload a lot faster and this unit does not disappoint. My work consist of print, online and video (HD). I especially like having the option of switching over to a functional PC to verify that files are working on that end. So much less hassle with client back and forth. (ONE NOTE) If you are upgrading from a system as old as the one I had, I would make a back-up of everything you have first before you try a full migration or just give yourself time and reinstall everything on the unit separately. That might be a pain to do, but it'll be worst if something goes unexpectedly wrong and you lose data that is important to you. BEST
