Comments about Cokin Photogel FLASH Filters 5 x 2" (30-Pack):
These filters helped me balance my speedlight with the ambient light of a wedding I shot. I've done a wedding without these and I can personally testify that these simple filters save hours of editing trying to correct color.
I do wish the filters were labeled subtly to help distinguish between similar ones on the fly. This is just a minor thing though.
Every photographer (especially portrait/wedding photographers) should own a set of filters like this.

slap an orange gel on your strobe and match your flash to the ambient room light, then custom color or K color temp match in your camera and no more color shifts as you get further from the flash

Sent enough velcro to hold them to flash head and they fit well are easy to install and remove quickly if needed. A good array of color shades/hues for varying lighting conditions. Not too much money and no gadget to attach or fuss with as some systems can be.

Comments about Cokin Photogel FLASH Filters 5 x 2" (30-Pack):
Pretty nice set for its price, includes all the gels a photo enthusiast needs. I've two strobes that's why I bought this set instead of the 15-pack.
One thing that is missing is a way to figure out which gel is what!! Simple labels on the gels would have helped.

Comments about Cokin Photogel FLASH Filters 5 x 2" (30-Pack):
These gels are nice and fit my flashes perfectly. Only con is that they do not include enough velcro to use on all of the gels. I punched a hole in the corner of each gel and keep them all on a binder ring to keep up with them.

Comments about Cokin Photogel FLASH Filters 5 x 2" (30-Pack):
Compared to the sample swatches out there, this is VERY pricey. However, the kit provides the convenience of velcro attachments and the gel sheets are comfortably bigger than the sample swatches. 5' X 2' sheets provide very nice coverage on a 580EX II with extra space all the way around - which may or may not be desirable depending how you attach your gels. All the essential ones are in here CTO, CTB, Color Green, etc. A recommended buy.

Comments about Cokin Photogel FLASH Filters 5 x 2" (30-Pack):
30 is plenty. There actually wasn't enough little circle velcro for all the filters. Instead of the included sticky velcro to put on the flash, I used an 1 in. width velcro to wrap around my Speedlite. That way I don't get all that sticky goo on the flash light. What's nice about my own velcro around the flash, I could attach one of those diffuser on my Speedlite and wrap the velcro around the diffuser. Then slap on my color filter.

Comments about Cokin Photogel FLASH Filters 5 x 2" (30-Pack):
An indespensible product to have your flash blend in with existing light, without having that "flash" look. Really easy to use with the velcro attachments. Fits most any flash head. I haven't had a chance to try the special affect gels, but should be interesting.

Comments about Cokin Photogel FLASH Filters 5 x 2" (30-Pack):
I have used 5 colors out of the pack and they work great! I enjoy the color cast on several different backgrounds; most prominent is on a white but they work well on several different colors. Utilizing one's color wheel knowledge you can create great complimentary colors to make an interesting backdrop.
