The BG500 2 x 10 from tc electronic is a bass amplifier/speaker combo that provides all the tools necessary to amplify and perform with an electric bass. The 500 Watt amplifier drives two 10 inch speaker and a tweeter with a 33mm voice coil, rendering a simple, yet powerful combination of great bass sound and function.
With Active Power Management, the amplifier delivers all the character of a tube amplifier while delivering 500 Watts of undiluted power. The unit has traditional tone controls, but also includes TubeTone, a circuit that emulates all of the characteristics of a traditional tube circuit. Tweeter Tone provides tweeter level control along with musical high-frequency control from the front panel.
SpectraComp provides studio quality compression with its "per string" compression. Three on-board user memories can quickly swap sounds mid gig, perfect for multi-bass set-ups. With its balanced out, headphones out and rehearse inputs, it caters for any bass application. The BG500 is the ideal amplifier combo for the road, studio or rehearsal.
