The Veracity CAMSWITCH QUAD Port PoE Network Switch (5 Ports) is specifically designed for IP video applications, and provides power supply and network connection for up to 4 IP cameras from a single unit. It uses the PoE technology, which draws power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets, and can be installed wherever the network connection is required. The PoE Network Switch also allows you to optimally locate WiFi access points and routers easily.

Compatible with low-voltage power supply, the Quad switch can be used to convert battery and solar power to PoE for remote devices. You can also use the switch with legacy installed power supplies or connect the switch to any 12-40 VDC supply that can power up to 4 cameras in bus, train, car, boat, or other transport surveillance applications.

The Quad Network Switch is encased in a rugged wall-mountable aluminum enclosure, which can withstand the rigors of IP video installation. It features detachable screw terminal connectors and can automatically configure DC (10 to 40V) or AC (20 to 28V) supplies. Additionally, the switch can automatically configure the network ports for 10Base-T or 100Base-T, half or full-duplex operation, and makes use of patch or crossover cables. You can use the power from the local 12V or 19V ATX supply to integrate into PCs and DVRs, providing a complete one-box solution for IP video recording.
