The Veracity OUTREACH Lite Ethernet Extender is used to instantly extend the Ethernet network connection to non-network units beyond the 328' (100m) limit. As the OutReach Lite uses PoE technology, which draws power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets, it can be installed wherever the network connection is required.
The Ethernet Extender comes with network port that can be configured automatically for network speed, duplex, and crossover without IP or MAC address. Capable of restoring the network connection every 328' (100m), the extender maintains 200Mbit/s bandwidth of regular full-duplex 100BASE-T Ethernet for maximum reliability and predictability of operation.
A combination of the OutReach Lite and OutReach Max can extend the data-only connections and increase the range up to 1312' (400m). The extender can also be used to upgrade legacy twisted pair video installations to IP. You can bury or mount the OutReach Lite extender on wall, or install in conduit and plenum spaces.
