Based on the popular Beats headphones, Monster now offers the Beats by Dr. Dre Solo HD On-Ear Headphones with ControlTalk (Red). The Beats Solo HD headphones have a smaller, lighter design than their big brother, but offer high-definition sound quality that's just as amazing. Ideal for today's digital music, these headphones have proprietary titanium-coated drivers to provide deep bass, a bold midrange, and clear, undistorted treble so you can hear every detail.
The on-ear, closed-back design provides long-lasting comfort and a high degree of natural noise isolation. It also has a tri-fold design for convenient storage in the included case. The single-sided detachable cable is designed to provide you with plenty of slack while resisting tangles. Integrated into the cable is Monster's ControlTalk module, which provides you with a high-grade microphone and 3 control buttons, ideal for making phone calls, taking voice notes, controlling music playback, and adjusting volume on compatible iPods, iPhones, and Blackberrys. The gold-plated 3.5mm plug has a low-profile right-angle design and provides wide compatibility with MP3 players, CD players, computers, and more.
Note! Remote and mic supported by iPod Nano (4th/5th gen), Classic (120GB), Touch (2nd gen), iPhone 3GS and newer, but not all Blackberry models. Remote supported by iPod Shuffle (3rd gen). Requires software v. 1.0.3 for iPod Nano (4th gen), 2.0.1 for Classic (120GB), and 2.2 or later for Touch (2nd gen). Support for Blackberry varies by model. Subject to change.

I have an odd shaped head so headphones don't always look that great on me, but this one does. It works really well for both standard music listening or as professional grade headphones. Highly recommend.

I sort of liked these headphones when they were working. They were comfortable, but the sound quality was not that good. Too much bass and it overpowers the mids and the highs. Around 4 months later, no sound came out of the headphones. I paid [$] for headphones and they break? Also, these headphones do not sound like [$] headphones. They sound like $50 headphones. Do not buy these........ Buy anything else, from Audio Technica, Sennheiser, AKG, Grado, Shure, Beyerdynamic etc..... I am sending these back to get a replacement pair.
