Comments about Belkin 12-Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector:
I purchased two used one for computer and one for other as short on plug-ins in area.
Having 8 plug-ins with extra room between outlets is a plus also very satisfied with this brand .
B&H products from A-Z is a great place to shop they always take time to help you if have questions and between all the family have placed large ordes from B$H but most important part is have been satisfied with every purchase made at B & H.

I like the fact that they have the prongs going in a different direction down the middle. Makes it useful for the bulky plugs,

Comments about Belkin 12-Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector:
This holds the load for 10 devices--computer, peripherals, AV. Don't think ill of me: just lots of stuff in a small area. ;-)The three things that lead me too buy *this* suppressor: outlets, joules and cost. 12 well-spaced outlets that accommodate wall warts. 3870 joules of protection--not really enough for all the goodies but... The cost was right. No real complaints. This was a good bargain, IMHO.[...]

Comments about Belkin 12-Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector:
I use this under my audio workstation for the variety of wall warts and plugs for my computer, and audio gear.
12-outlets including SIX wall warts is great in this small power strip! I trust Belkin products. I did not know that it had additional jacks to protect telephone and coaxial cable for the tv. I may try running the phone through it. Maybe it can protect the audio system from any wierd grounding problem the phone system may add.
The local stores sell this for around $40. More than twice what I paid for it here.
One oddity:
The screw mounting holes on the backside seem to be upside down. Maybe I need to try mounting it and I will see a new perspective.

Comments about Belkin 12-Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector:
This product does just what it says it does. The only shortcoming is that it's not really wall-mountable (or able to be secured to the ground). It has two little slots in the back to allow you to "hang" it on the wall, but that's different from being able to secure it to the wall. Anyone who has ever been frustrated by trying to pull out just a single plug from one of these surge suppressors without moving the entire unit would appreciate true wall-mountability.
Comments about Belkin 12-Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector:
I can't speak to the electronics in this thing - I have no reason to think they aren't great, but the outer shell has some dumb design flaws. First one is that the phone jacks are labeled clearly enough "IN" and "OUT" but the plastic loop that's supposed to gather your loose cords is fastened permanently right over the top of the words. No kidding! I was looking all over for some print or raised letters and found them finally when I pried the loop away and peaked under. Second thing is that the little holes in the back for attaching the unit to your wall with screws are oriented upside down. When you hang it the way you see it in the photos here and on the box, the thing drops off the wall. I've got mine hanging upside down and it's fine except the cord loop is on top now, and the switch is on the bottom. Funny thing is though that upside down orients the grounding hole in the outlets correctly upward, as opposed to downward the the way we all seem to like seeing little faces. The good electricians out there know what I'm talking about...
