This charger is excellent, I just to charge Batteries overnight one by one so I barely sleep, now I put 2 batteries at the same time. So I'm going to buy others.

Super compact, and charges two batteries at once. I had a slight issue with the plastic piece that covers the contacts when the battery is not in the charger. It was getting stuck in the down position. When you put in a battery it has to be up, otherwise it won't switch on the charging. I just worked it up and down until it stopped getting stuck. Charge time is slow, 8 hrs or so, but for overnight it works great.

I bought this beauty with a SONY DVCAM PD-100a camcorder 8 years ago. The PD-100a recently died but this dual slot charger just keeps chugging along. It is field-rugged and is the best value I've seen in a simple, idiot-proof and rel;iable charger. Easily worth double the money because IT WORKS!
