The 1TB DriveStation Axis HD-LBU2 External Hard Drive from Buffalo is a USB 2.0 hard drive that can be used with Mac and Windows computer systems. The drive features fanless cooling for quiet operation, and offers reduced power consumption via its Eco Manager function.
The disk includes the Buffalo Tools software suite for Windows. The software can be used to backup your system and to increase performance using its TurboPC function. Mac users will be able to perform backup using OS X's built-in Time Machine program, with which the DriveStation Axis is compatible.
