The American Audio TT-Headshell is a standard turntable headshell for mounting most cartridges (cartridge not included). The lightweight headshell is durable and features a standard connection that fits most straight and S-curved turntable tone arms.

Bought two of these for my Technics. I was initially impressed by the smooth finish and seemingly quality build, that is until I discovered that the pins on both examples were visibly canted the the right, seriously throwing off azimuth.
But that's not the only problem: The black rubber washer at the rear of the assembly is noticeably thicker than original Technics spec, thus making it impossible to set overhand correctly by using the white plastic Technics gauge manufactured for this purpose. My advise is to avoid this junk and stick with a major brand.

Got this for a technix SL2000 that I bought at a garage sale. It installed easily. I was concerned about the large amount of lift the tonearm had without a headshell (or cartridge), but this did the trick just fine, very sturdy and it'll probably hold up forever.
