Being that I love to take portraits of people a little outside the box..... I love this background..... it absorbs light very well and creates a timeless texture that can be both modern and vintage at the same time..... it's black on black texture creates subtle detail without distracting from the subject matter....
I love the size and ease of this background and I plan on purchasing more in the near future.....
I had to steam it out a little to remove the creases from being folded, but no problem with that....
love it!

This is probably the best fabric background for making an artificial wall that I've found. The embossed pattern has a very realistic look of a classic wall treatment and the shiny base fabric catches light very nicely and gives a nice contrast. The fabric itself is heavy and when clamped to a backdrop stand makes a surprisingly stable vertical surface. The only issue I've found with it is the extra heaviness of the fabric makes it more difficult to roll or fold away the extra material along the floorline, but given that I tend to work with a consistent height I'm going to simply cut mine and hem the bottom. All in all I like this so much I have every intent of picking up a second in a different color.
