I wanted a bag that i can use for holidays without having to take my full backpack. After checking out various other makes, I decided on this one. it was a great choice. I carry every thing i need for holidays and its also a size that allows me to take as a "carry on" piece of plane luggage. A large factor in my decision was, I didn't want to walk around with the traditional looking camera bag. This bag not only looks different, but no-one knows it's full of expensive camera equipment. Really comfortable to carry even after a full day out. you even get admiring glances from people looking at the bag. definitely a great buy.

I love the colors, the durability, the feel of the material, the lightness, and the very spacious internal system.I carry my 15.4 inch Laptop with its various accessories (Power Cord, Mouse, Mouse Pad, Headsets) Combined with my Camera Equipment: Canon T3i BODY (with lens attached), 55-250mm Canon EF-S lens, SPeedlite 270EX II, rainsleeve, and small accessories.I can also fit my other utensils such as my note book and paper supply and 4 pens and pencils and an umbrella.Quite a lot no? With all this packed into my bag. It is obviously heavy in any bag but the shoulder strap (sold separate) cushions most of this weight. I take all this and travel to school and into downtown (a 40 minute trip), walk around ALLL daaayyy taking lots of photos. swapping lens' at certain times. then hitting up a library or friends place to play around with my photos on my laptop. Finally, noone suspects my bag to contain my valuables (DSLR, lens, laptops, expensive headset) at all =]The bad side is. Yeah it CAN get heavy for some people if u really pack it with heavy equipment. And if you don't buy the shoulder strap (this is also by preference, Everyones diff right?) Also you need a good organisation skill. know what to put in first otherwise they dont all fit. Finally, when you walk around the city it can get stressful, access to the bag is not easy. This is good because it prevents people from shoving their hands in your bag in a very crowded area but it also prevents you from easy access. you gotta stop. unstrap the two brown straps like belts put it up, unzip the compartment u want access too (which can get a bit fustrating sometimes) then look for the thing you want. Problem is. this is only most fustrating when you want to swap lens quickly or w.e. Other wise to take paper out or resume's or other notebook / pens out its not as hard.FOR SOME. this bag can be TOO big. There are also 3 extra compartments on the cover part of the bag which contains my microfiber cloth and other small things. These compartments are real easy and comfy to access.

It holds my D700 with battery pack and 1 lens attached as well as 4 other lenses, flash and other misc. stuff. It doesn't look like a camera bag which is a real big plus!
Works well as a day tripper but it won't hold all I own. Wouldn't want it to anyway.

Comments about National Geographic NG A2560 Africa Series Medium Satchel (Brown):
I have had this bag for a few weeks now and it has been an excellent buy. Initially I was afraid that it might have been too large for my needs (as I was looking for something to haul my dSLR and on occasion my netbook). I didn't want a backpack and wasn't looking for something so obviously "camera bag." I bought this bag with a bit of apprehension, but my apprehensions disappeared once I stuck my stuff in and took a stroll with it on my shoulder. The build quality is spectacular, the material is rugged and durable, it has a convenient layout and adequate protection and room for my dSLR, 3 lenses, extras, and accessories as well as a couple of books and a netbook. I am definitely satisfied and would buy this bag without reservation. I would suggest buying the matching shoulder strap pad--it seems odd that it doesn't come with the bag by default, but I don't regret grabbing that as well.

Very functional bag for camera gear which accommodates my film and
digital equipment plus accessories. A good purchase which does not
advertise that you are carrying photo equipment.

Enough Space for Short tour. Very Stylish and form enough to support your gears. Good color can be matched with any cloth. Use with 5D MKII + battery Grip + 24-105 + 100F2.0 + 70-200 F4L IS or 580 EX II Flash. You have to buy a shoulder pad saperately.
