The Tiffen Color Separation Guide and Gray Scale is a more than useful tool for anyone involved with color printing, digital production or in the production of separation negatives.
This package contains one set of Tiffen Color Control Patches (9 patches that include two saturations of each color and one gray scale that is broken down into 20 steps in 0.10 density increments that range between 0.0 white and 1.90 black).
The color patches are used in the calibration of color systems as well as in the comparison of the reproduction to the original. They can also be used with color scanners in the identification of separation negatives (and positives) in color reproduction.
A gray scale is a universally accepted tool for quality control when comparing tonal values. It is also a most valuable item to have when trying to determine the proper exposure in shooting situations.
This gray scale is complete with the following Color Control Circles: Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, White, Gray (18%) and Black.

Comments about Tiffen EK1527662 Color Separation Guide and Gray Scale (Large, 14"):
Not packaged very well & arrived a bit crushed. Some of the separator tissue paper in between layers was also stuck to the actual guide. I cleaned it up & still use it.
Same as the Kodak guide...that's what it is. It is pretty large & takes up a good amount of space for copy work.
