The Vocas MB-250 Mattebox Kit consists of an MB-250 mattebox, a flexible adaptor ring kit, and a height adjustable bars adaptor.
Compatible with filters ranging from 3 x 3" to 4 x 6", the matte box supports most wide angle lenses in both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios. The French flag allows you to adjust the matte (or mask) to the zoom position of the lens and the 2 eyebrows that can be operated from outside of the matte box shields the lens from excessive sunlight. In addition, the matte box includes 1 rotatable and 1 fixed 4" wide filter tray.
Equipped with a quick-lock mounting system, you can use the matte box as a clip-on (attached directly to the lens front) or mount it using an MBS-100 mattebox support along with a bars adaptor.

I use this mattebox with my GH2 on the Zacuto DSLR baseplate and it is as solid a rig as I could have hoped for. Solid construction, mostly metal, BUY ONE.

Comments about Vocas MB-250 Mattebox Kit:
I have been looking for a good matte box that can be used on both my Canon 7D with a variety of lenses, and my Canon XF305. This one does nicely. This Vocas set up is either for vieo cameras or DSLRs using 15mm rails. However, the nice thing about the Vocas system is that you can easily remove the matte box from the rails, pull the donut ring adapter and place in a clamp on ring with threads and put it on your DSLR lens. I use an IDC portable follow focus unit that doesn't have rail support, so I can use a matte box that can screw on to the front of my lenses. The IDC unit combined with the Vocas matte box makes for quick Canon lens changes. The uniot itself is made well, light weight and the folding flaps in the shade itself can block pesky external flares without the use of other means to control them. The othly cons is that it is manufactured in the Netherlands and a little hard for dealers in the US to get it in - Thanks to Band H for stepping up to the plate and getting it in their catalog, and the cost. Their are cheaper units and more expensive ones, but this matte box is really great for the money.
