The HDR Efex Pro Software from Nik Software is a software plug-in for use with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, and Apple Aperture. It allows you to create stunning High Dynamic Range (HDR) images by blending multiple exposures of the same scene. The software is optimized for use with multi-core CPUs.
HDR blends an underexposed image, a properly exposed image, and an overexposed image together in order to create a stunning image that preserves shadow and highlight detail. This software gives you many options for creating HDR images, including one-click visual presets, advanced tone mapping algorithms, detailed HDR controls, and U Point technology for fine-tuning colors and tonality.

I wanted software that would help fix exposure in some single-photo wedding (outdoor) shots. I cannot get Efex to do that to my satisfaction. I am confident that the software will work fine with multi-exposure scene shots.

I could not get NIK to accept my academic credentials so I returned the software. Adobe is apparently not so uptight as I was able to buy Lightroom and Photoshop with the same credentials. Thankfully there is other HDR software int he universe

Very easy to use. Alot of pre-sets to play with to see how it changes the settings and learn from. Much easier and intuitive to use than other programs I have tried. It looks and feels alot like lightroom. Download the trial version and try it for 30 days.

This is the best stand alone or plug in HDR software available. The product is easy to use and provides excellent options without having to manually adjust the photo. That being said the custom features are easy to use and extremely effective.
