So ingenious.
Zippers look not so robust though. I will see with time.

If you need to haul that much gear, hire a mule :-) Went for the Bug 230 instead. Smaller profile, but less free space but better size (and fits well on planes).

Make no mistake this backpack is big but is very well built and has easy access. The front flap is also the perfect size for sliding in an Ipad as well. I use it when I go out and shoot with a smaller amount of gear so I can leave my roller at home. It also has an add on roller that I might get at some point.

Comments about Kata D-Light Owl-272 DL Backpack:
The reason I bought this bag was that I did not have enough room in my other camera bags for all of my equipment including my tripod...Now I do...In addition this bag is well laid out which allows me easy quick access at all times.
As a backpack the bag fits nicely and conforms to my back which allows long hikes through rough terrain.
Also I like the fact that the bag has been designed to fit a trolley for walking through airports and train stations.
The zippers and zipper handles should be larger and more robust, after a lot of use I could see them wearing down or breaking.

This is the best equipment bag I have EVER had, I even sold all my other bags online because this bag conquered over them all. I'm a press/media photographer so I need to have all my equipment with me when I'm at an event. This bag holds my 2 cameras, 4 lenses (2 tele 2 wide), mac laptop, tripod, HD camcorder, and all the extras I take with me such as camera & lens cleaners, extra batteries, power adapters, camera straps, etc.. This is the best gear bag you can own! It holds everything safe and secure and has back padding as well as padding in the straps to ensure a comfortable fit. If your looking to bring all your gear with you then buy this bag I assure you that you will love it, It comes with me to every event!! Totally worth every dollar.

The Owl-272 is just as advertised. Plenty of compartments for storage and is not too heavy like some other backpack-style camera bags. The laptop storage works great for air travel and will greatly enhance our "Go" capabilities.

Big bag, it can handle my D90 w/grip and lens and 4 additional lens, cleaning kit, extra batteries. Top compartment fit my SB-900, point and shoot camera, and extras (filters, lens caps or hoods). Is comfortable for the shoulder and not too heavy. I like the side compartment for access to the camera.
