Comments about Kata Pro-Light Access-18 PL Holster:
The bag works for holding a long lens like my 70-200 and a body with grip and L-bracket. Plus room for stuff on each side. Fairly durable and protective when I want to travel light.
The strap is pretty well worthless though. Very uncomfortable unless you are wearing a jacket or thick shirt.
They could have put one more pocket on the front which would have been nice. The side pockets work very nicely for holding a flash or a small lens.
The back has a spot where you could pass a belt through, but it will have to be pretty thin, the hole looks to be only about an inch wide.

Comments about Kata Pro-Light Access-18 PL Holster:
Bought it for the top load feature and especially the side compartments. Easily fit a 70-400 lens in the main compartment. Able to carry camera (Sony Alpha 55), big lens, small lens, Sony handycam, spare batteries and chargers for both cameras, discs, manuals, and monopod. Amazing what it held. Only design change I would/will make is a divider for the top compartment when the camera doesn't have the 70-400 on it. Camera fits but I want protection for lens, as the camera sits on top.

Comments about Kata Pro-Light Access-18 PL Holster:
This is a well made bag with large pockets it should last me a long time. It can hold lots of gear for a small lite bag. In the main pouch I have a Nikon D90 with a 18-105 VR lens with bayonet turned backwards and room for 2 filters. In the larger pocket I have a Nikon 70-300 VR lens in its protective pouch and a small 6" tripod that fit nicely. In the smaller pocket I have a Nikon SB800 Flash and a small defuser along with spare batteries for the flash. You can still drop the bottom for more space. The shoulder strap is angled so it is comfortable to wear. You can take what you might need for the day without having to take all your gear. Great for travel. My only con is a D ring might of been handy to have so you can attach a small item like a water bottle. Overall it is a great bag. I'm glad I bought it.

Comments about Kata Pro-Light Access-18 PL Holster:
After about a month of going around from store to store, from site to site looking for the perfect bag, I am confident I've found it. It is for my Canon 7D with the kit lens 28mm-135mm. I was looking for a holster type bag that is big enough when I put a grip on it, and to have enough space for at least another lens and a flash. The quality is excellent it can not be better. I really like that the rubbery pad on the strap doesn't move up and down too freely, as this has always annoyed me, it is never on my shoulder. I also love the metal hooks that the strap ataches to, they are slick and promising. I don't usually write reviews, but with this I really hope I save someone's time.

Bag capacious, but place presence under filters in the presence of a lens and flash is doubtful.

Comments about Kata Pro-Light Access-18 PL Holster:
The product works exactly as expected and is unbelievably light! The number of pockets is perfect preventing you from bringing more than you need. The ONLY complaint I have is that the side pocket which is claimed to hold a 70-200L will barely hold my 70-200L (without a lens hood). I had to tilt the lens sideways a bit just to be able to barely close the zipper. Kata needs to make the pocket a bit taller and wider if they're going to make that claim.
