The Olympus WS-700M Digital Voice Recorder is a mid-level recorder that offers up a respectable number of features and functions. In addition to 4GB of built-in memory, the WS-700M also has a microSD card slot that can hold cards up to 16GB. And, MP3, WMA, and PCM files can all be recorded and played using the recorder.
The "USB Direct" function allows for charging and file transfer of the device with both Mac and PC computers, while up to 200 files can be stored directly to the recorder in 5 folders. Other features of the WS-700M include the Scene Select Function, external mic and headphone connections, and Voice Activation.
