The ViewSonic Pro8450w WXGA DLP Projector is a powerful installation unit with native WXGA resolution which is a format-friendly match for today's widescreen laptops.
The impressive specs include a blazing 4,500 lumens of brightness, enough to meet most ambient light challenges. In fact, you can leave the lights on during presentations to take notes. WXGA (1,200 x 800) resolution is backed with a super-crisp dynamic contrast ratio of 3,000:1, to deliver stunning all-digital clarity with vivid color, sharp graphics and outstanding video. BrilliantColor's sophisticated 5-segment color (RGBWY) wheel provides greater color accuracy than standard DLP projectors with a 4-segment color wheel. The result is greater sharpness, brightness and contrast in lifelike images with remarkable depth.
The Pro8450w renders smooth, cinema-like action sequences thanks to its 120Hz frame rate so the only detail that goes by in a blur is time. And the Pro8450w is ready for the immersive world of 3D. Just plug in a compatible 3D source, put on optional 3D shutter glasses and you're on your way. Not only is 3D great for entertainment but studies have shown that viewers retain more information presented in 3D than they do in 2D.
Additional features include digital keystone adjustment which takes the guess work out of adjusting your image and reduces set-up time. The projector's wide connectivity includes one HDMI, and three component inputs so you'll never have to waste time swapping inputs during an important presentation. The multi-voltage Pro8450w accommodates installations from permanent ceiling-mounted to simple desk-mounted use, making it a perfect choice for boardrooms and educational institutions the world over. An RJ-45 connection makes remote control of multiple projectors across a network possible, as well as allowing messaging or bulletins throughout a campus or corporate facility.
For power, superior color, world-wide compatibility and rich connectivity, the Viewsonic Pro8450w is hard to beat.

Comments about Viewsonic Pro8450w WXGA DLP Projector:
I purchased these for our church sanctuary visual needs. The 4500 lumens give us a fantastic picture, even with the stage lights surrounding them. I've got rave comments from everyone on the clarity and color. I'm glad I spent the extra money to upgade. It was money well spent.

Comments about Viewsonic Pro8450w WXGA DLP Projector:
Never used Viewsonic products before until now. The price and the features were a deciding factor. We received them and hook them up and wow for the price you can't beat it. Having it 3D ready was a plus also. For a medium to large room projection on a tight budget I would highly recommend Viewsonic. Don't know about the durability of them yet but don't foresee any problems in the future.

As a TV is does not stay linked to the SAT reserve when going from channel to channel. Very irritating,3D does not work with ether Blue ray or SAT TV.Plus to watch 3D I need to buy glass at $99.00 each pair.plus the [$]. I lade out on a VIVP3D1 3D HD VIDEO PROCESSOR-3D HD 720P FORMT. Not wrath the money.

Comments about Viewsonic Pro8450w WXGA DLP Projector:
Easy to configure menu for ceiling mount.
Removed old Panasonic projector and could use the same bracket to mount the Viewsonic projector.
Used in a well lit room with external windows on 2 sides.
Picture is still very bright and clear, even with projecting onto a cream coloured wall.
Great for reading text at its native resolution even at a distance.

Comments about Viewsonic Pro8450w WXGA DLP Projector:
Projection quality is good. It is a step up in brightness from our previous projector. We can now leave the room lights on with about a 120" diagonal projection. Color is closer to natural in pictures than our last NEC projector but still off a noticeable amount. For the cost we are satisfied with the overall performance.
Comments about Viewsonic Pro8450w WXGA DLP Projector:
Very easy to setup and use. I was a little disappointed on the brightness until I figured out the brightness by default is turned way down. We are using this in a fully lit conference room that has three large windows with direct sunlight. No problem seeing the screen at all. I'm impressed with all the connections.
