Apantac LX-8SD Eight Input SD-SDI Multiviewer with Built-in Routing Switcher

The Apantac LX-8SD Eight Input SD-SDI Multiviewer with Built-in Routing Switcherconsists of a built-in 16x8 SDI routing switcher, which accepts 16 SD-SDI inputs and displays any input to the 8 available windows. Regardless of the output configuration, any input is switchable to 1 or more image windows. With single frame processing delay, it offers support for up to 16 channels of SDI embedded audio and 4 channels of discrete audio per input (optional), and also supports DVI, HDMI, VGA (optional), SDI (optional), and full 10-bit HDMI 1.3 outputs with a resolution of up to 2048 x 1080 (including 1080p). The unit is also field upgradable, and allows discrete audio (AES/AA).

Featuring a built-in CATx extender that extends the range up to 115’ for 1080p resolution with optional receivers, the DE-8 Multiviewer includes analog and digital clocks for time of day and up/down counters and with LTC timecode and NTP for clock synchronization. It includes multiple labels, and with Apantac skin technology allows customizing borders, labels (4 / window), fonts, tally LEDS, clock faces, logos, UMD, OMD, IMD, and dynamic UMD.

With automatic input aspect ratio detection, it has a built-in video, audio alarm detections like no audio, audio high/low, no video, video black, video frozen, WSS/AFD. It also supports closed captions (line 21, CEA 608, CEA 708). The LX-8SD Multiviewer with Built-in Routing Switcher comes with front panel buttons for quick preset recalls and a front panel headphone jack with volume control, and comes with a 1 RU size.
