My 7 year old wanted a drum set for Christmas. He already had a Yamaha keyboard, so I thought this would be a nice companion piece. I like the fact that ION makes larger, higher end sets and that this set had a headphone jack, unlike some of the other cheaper electronic drum sets. The learn to play feature is helpful and works similar to the feature on our Yamaha keyboard.
The sound is really good for a tabletop set.
