I upgraded from a 2-gens ago iPod Nano because during elliptical workouts, the strap would keep coming undone. I know this was more the accessory, but the iPod had also seen its day. This new Shuffle is so tiny, you don't realize it's even clipped onto an article of clothing when you're working out. I also love the easy-to-use buttons, the voice for song notification and the ability to select playlists originally created from iTunes. Not much to dislike w/ this product.

The buttons on the earlier version were more useful and easier to manage, and it is difficult to attach the ipod to clothing (much easier in earlier version because it was slightly larger).

Best mp3 player for joggers.
Have a good Seinheiser / Klipsh earphone and difference is huge.
I switched from Amazon to BHP twice in my last 2 transaction just that they have always demonstrated a great speed in shipping my item and for the item to actually reach me, even while choosing 'Free Shipping'.

Not much you can say about an ipod that hasn't already been said. The only problem I've had with this shuffle is that it is hard to clip on to my shirt without accidentally pressing one of the buttons.

Bought this to replace the wife's 4 year old Nano that had died. She had looked at all Ipods in the Apple store and decided the Shuffle would be fine cuz she mostly used her old one in car on shuffle mode, and preferred familiar control wheel over touch screen (yeah, we're old!). So I got her the shiny new silver Shufle for Christmas; smiles, hug, thank-you, hey, how come it doesn't have the connector thingy on the bottom to plug into docking stereo?
Uh-oh.
Exchanged for Nano, welcome to micro-touch-screen-land.

The Shuffle is great mainly because it is so easy to use and the sound is wonderful. Didn't find the set up process so easy. The device is small so it might be difficult to clip it on if your fingers are not small.Great battery allows for long hours of listening without recharging ( 15 hours!)

I use this product for listening music when I´m travelling or just jogging
The best thing about it is defenitly its size what makes it so perfect to take it along with your anywhere and anytime. The rounded button placement is also convenient- easy to find the right buttons without looking at the panel and the voice info compensates the lacking of screen.
It would be even better if there were at least 3 settings for the music performance (classic, rock, jazz or something else) to improve the sound quality.

I use this when I am walking or cleaning the house. I love that I can just clip it on and go. The controls are easy enough to use and I didn't need a degree to figure it out. I would definately recommend!

I use this when running on the treadmill. I like it better than my nano. It clips to just about anything and you don't even know it's there. I have big hands/fingers and this thing is very small making it difficult to use the controls at times.

Used primarily at the gym, so it takes quite a bit of abuse. I wouldnt be without it. And the battery capacity is fabulous...it never seems to die and I'm not too loyal about recharging.
This new version has taken the best from all prior and bundled into 1 compact unit. The best thing is that you can use any headphones...not those little earbuds which are unique to the previous model.
