Sony LCS-VCD Carrying Case for NEX-VG10 Handycam Camcorder
The Sony LCS-VCD Carrying Case (Black) is a large gadget bag designed to carry and protect a Sony NEX-VG10 Interchangeable Lens Handycam camcorder with lenses and accessories. The case is made from durable polyester. It can store a tripod on the top. There is a large front zippered pocket and 2 side zippered pockets on the outside. On the inside there are mesh pockets for storing lenses and accessories, The case is carried by 2 handles with an overlapping grip or a removable, adjustable shoulder strap with pad.

I love it when a dedicated soft case has plenty of room for accessories. This case is great. I use manual Nikon lenses and a couple of zooms. However, since the VG10 is manual lens camcorder I don't have the need to travel with any but, the supplied zoom. This case is perfect for carrying my smaller primes (like my Nikon 50mm, Lensbaby, etc) and all of the accessories that go along with them (i.e., filters and optics).
This case also holds the extra batteries, charger, and AC adapter with room to spare.
The tripod holder at the top is a great feature. I think all camera/camcorder cases should be made with a dedicated tripod holder. And the included raincover is also a nice benefit.
Overall I am very pleased with this case and would definitely recommend it as "must have" accessory for VG10 owners.

Trying to find the perfect bag is a challenge and totally personal. For my NXCAM I wanted a case that wasn't too big, or too small, flexible with plenty of pockets, tripod straps and a rain hood. Bingo this one has it all. Well made Semi rigid construction, good padding, 2 dividers 1 foam block and a small (lens) bag. 3 external pockets 1 mesh zippered on inside of cover. All the zippers have a nice feel and work well. I'm using for my Sony HXR-NX70U but any NXCAM would would be at home. Can hold my camera, wide and tele lens mic and handle (assembled or disassembled) power adapter, batteries, cables and anything else I might try to stuff in it. If anything the bag internally is a little big for my rig, but externally it's a comfortable size to tote around. The 2 dividers consist of a medium and small rigid 3 sided kind of open box so you can use horizontally as a shelf and have upper and lower compartments. The color internally is light grey, nothing goes missing. Additional foam blocks would be nice, but 1 is all I needed to snug up my camera.

Although this case could be great for many cameras, it is definitely suited for the Sony NEX-VG10/20. It fits everything perfectly and securely. It has room for a few additional lenses but the only problem I could think of would arise if you had more than a couple. It could fit every accessory you throw at it, including the Sony ECM-CG50 shotgun mic, but no more than about 2 or 3 small lenses (which is fine for me). In my opinion this bag is a must for any owner with the NEX-VG10/20.

Made to fit the NEX-VG10 however you have to take off the lens hood to make the camera fit. It has great compartments inside and underneath, You'll be very happy with it. It has a space to attach or wrap a small tripod up on top.

I purchased this bag from B&H to use with my new Sony NEX-VG10 and am very happy with it! Has lots of extra space for accessories. Even has a velcro rectangular cube inside to help support the camera (even though the camera still has a little wiggle room). Has small pouch with very soft internal lining, perfect for a smaller lens. Exterior is very durable and I love the rain cover! Incredible value for under $100!!

Good carrying case I use it with my Canon XF100 and I put everything in there, camera, accessories, and the part that I really like the tripod fits on top. Also you have fold out rain flap to protect your equipment. The case is of good quality material so it can take a battering. Overall very good product.

The bag seemed a little bulky, kinda reminded me of a expanded generic camcorder bag at first...but the more I use it the more I understand sony's design. I really liked the inclusive rain jacket, and tripod straps...But like all things, they have flaws...there is no compartment dedicated to memory sticks. The side pockets reminded me of every other generic camera bag I've ever owned in the past with no liner for protection or compartments, but really no biggy. Overall, I would recommend to anyone over other products in the price range.
