The Manhattan Edit Workshop 3-day Training on Introduction to Flash is an intensive course that aims to provide students with basic knowledge of Adobe Flash CS5 and familiarize them with the application's interface. In this course, you will learn how to use the essential features of Flash CS5 that include text, graphics, and animation. Using Adobe Media Encoder and FLV Playback Components, you will acquire requisite hands-on skills on using audio and video efficiently within Flash CS5.

Inverse kinematics that creates articulated motion and morphing with shape tweens will be discussed as part of this 3-day course. You will also learn how to use Illustrator and Photoshop files in the Flash environment. The basics of ActionScript 3.0, a scripting programming language, will also be covered in the course. Utilizing built-in components to rapidly construct Flash-based user interfaces is also included in the course content. In sum, you will learn how to optimize and publish your Flash CS5 movies and also be introduced to the best practices of the software in the 3-day training course.
