RF extreme
The RF Extreme Pro-Link HD is a microwave transmission link that allows transfer of digital and audio (HD and SD) signals up to a distance of 2000’ over a 5.8 GHz license-free band. Equipped with a transmitter at the input end and a receiver at the output end, the link utilizes AES encryption and the MPEG4 video compression for high-quality data transfer. It supports 80i, 576i, 720p, 1080/60i and 1080/24p video with SDI (Serial Digital Interface) embedded audio, and is ideal for news broadcasting.
High-definition or standard-definition video is delivered via the CVBS (Composite Video Baseband Signal), SDI (Serial Digital Interface), and HD-SDI inputs and outputs. The Pro-Link HD features switch-selectable XLR connectors with balanced microphone and line level inputs, and switchable phantom power. It is constructed with rugged milled aluminum, and the transmitter can be mounted between an ENG camera, and its battery and the receiver can be mounted on the included tripod or in any other suitable location. The unit can be powered by the camera battery or by an external 12V DC power supply.
