Comments about Nikon HB-57 Snap-On Lens Hood for 55-300mm Lens:
This is the second time I have bought this product. Detaches too easily and is fragile. I prefer the construction of the hood that I have for my 18-200mm lens.

So far so good. It has not broken or had any problems. Fits my lens like it should. It does seem a bit flimsy, but with proper care, it should do its job.

Comments about Nikon HB-57 Snap-On Lens Hood for 55-300mm Lens:
Easy on and off because there is no lining up of threads. However I snagged the hood on my camera bag flap while picking up the camera and it broke into pieces. Too flimsy to count on.
Comments about Nikon HB-57 Snap-On Lens Hood for 55-300mm Lens:
The hood came as part of a package and is really flimsy. I snapped it in place and could never get it to stay on. It is virtually useless. When I tried to return it to Nikon, they said they didn't guarantee it. Rip off
