My first expectation of the product was that it was a constant battery - that it would 'charge' the iphone at 100% until it ran out of juice, then the phone would rely on it's own battery.
Not the case.
Think of it more like a portable recharger. When I saw my iphone was at 20%, I flipped the switch on the PowerGaurd, and in 10 minutes, I was back up to 65%!
It's weird to me to think of it like that, but it does work as described. It will sync and charge via the provided cable.
I wish i would have used the iphone designed cable, instead of micro-usb (i now have to buy all new charger cable for the car and such), but overall, it is a great device.
Improvements:
1. Make it slimmer
2. Use iphone jack, instead of micro-usb.
