Comments about Kensington 2-in-1 Car Charger and AUX Audio Cable:
This works great with the auxiliary input in my Mazda 3. However there is some minor interference between the charger and the radio. I can hear a faint high-pitched whine in the audio during quiet parts that changes pitch with the engine speed. The iPod plug end could be a bit smaller, but it does leave lots of room to grab. The cable itself is wrapped in woven sheath giving it a very nice texture and added durability.

I looked at Griffin (nothing exactly like this) then Monster (poor quality) and then Kensington. Wow! Superb design, just what I needed. High quality, the cloth covered cables are beautiful. I am using it for my 2011 Jetta. [...]

Comments about Kensington 2-in-1 Car Charger and AUX Audio Cable:
Works well to play the iPod in the car, with the audio coming from the dock connector, and charging it in the meantime. Very simple, low profile, the USB connection to the plug is a nice feature. You will also need something to hold the iPod, as the cable comes directly out of the bottom of the iPod. I will give 5 stars to the product that has the cable come out to the side so you can sit the iPod in a cup holder without damaging it (the fate of my last one, by a different maker).

Got this for my girlfriends car. It works perfect and she can use it with the Otterbox Defender case she has on her iPhone 3GS.

Comments about Kensington 2-in-1 Car Charger and AUX Audio Cable:
I bought this product because the USB connection on my radio would not provide enough power to keep my iphone charged while using the GPS program. It worked perfectly. The included charger provided more than enough power to keep the iphone at full charge while using the GPS and listening to music. It even had enough to add to the charge in the iphone as well. I bought a second one for my other car.

Comments about Kensington 2-in-1 Car Charger and AUX Audio Cable:
I can only give a short review at this point as I haven't had the product for a very long time. This cable was to replace a different cable that was stolen from our vehicle. I like the minimalist approach to this one, and the fact that the power adapter is a USB plug. The dock end seems overly big, but that at least makes it easy to grab. The line noise seems minimal and I haven't noticed much interference on either my iphone 2g or my wife's 4g. The price is right, it works well, and it doesn't have any gimmicks.
I bought one for my mom's car as well and she seems to be enjoying it.

Comments about Kensington 2-in-1 Car Charger and AUX Audio Cable:
While this product is obviously designed for use with a car stereo, that's not why I bought it. Rather, it is a way for me to "dock" my iPod Touch with my home stereo system, taking advantage of the docking port to bypass the Touch's headphone jack and thus get better sound. You can Google for the reasons why the port offers better sound than the headphone jack - but suffice to say, it works. There are various ways to make such a connection; I chose the Kensington cable because it is inexpensive, sturdy, and effective. I also like that it's got the USB charger built-in - again, this works fine at home too.
