there is no battery backup facility . I didn't

I use this photo frame to show off my work. I use a flash drive to play photos from the frame so the small internal memory is not a concern. The frame is easy to use and easy to set up and gives good color and a nice presentation in the slide view mode. The only thing that I don't like about the frame is that on the slide view you can view your photos in 1. Single 2. Multi photo 3. Random. I wish I could use the random which shows both single full size photos and the multi which shows up to three photos. The random setting does this but also shows the ugly calendar or clock that I wish I can exclude. So I use the multi view only mode

I buy this product as a gift to my parent. The size is big enough for senior and interface is easy to use. The only thing I don't like is the pixel is only 800 X 480 which is lower than 800 X 600 of other brands. Since the pixel is lower, sometimes you will feel the picture is not clear enough. But the design and overall quality of this product is still good.

I bought this product as a gift to my wife. I just took it out from the box and had it tested for possible defect but so far I'm satisfied with the result. I inserted my SDHC card on the slot provided at the back and the images showed up instantly; very clear images. The construction looks very solid and attractive to me.Easy to set up. I have yet to try all the features but I'm wondering if the speed setting for the slide show can be adjusted.

I bought this frame for my wife who is an amateur photographer who often goes on "shoots" with her camera club. She wanted a way to preview shots directly from a SD memory card and remove the not so good shots before uploading to a PC and Photoshop. I looked for two functions, delete (including removal from the memory card) and the ability to show "raw" format shots. Both of these capabilities are listed for the DPF-D1010 Photo Frame. The delete works fine. However, "raw" formats will not show up even in preview format (thumbnail) and will not even be counted in the number of shots on the memory card. The inability to handle raw was confirmed by Sony support via email and Sony lists raw format as a valid one in their Operators manual. The frame was almost returned because of this, but my wife said she could live it.
