Panasonic's AG-3DA1 stakes its claim as the world's first integrated twin-lens Full HD 3D camcorder. Using cutting-edge technology and design, the AG-3DA1 delivers a new level of portability and convenience to 3D image capture. Its dual lenses and 3MOS image sensors each capture 1080i/p or 720p video to their own SD/SDHC Memory Card, using Panasonic's professional AVCHD format. Boasting frame rates of 24p, 25p, 30p, 50i/p, and 60i/p (60p in 720p only), as well as XLR audio, HDMI and professional HD-SDI outputs, the AG-3DA1 takes what was once a cumbersome 3D capture process and trims it down into a camera not much larger than a standard 2D camcorder. This combination of portability, state-of-the-art technology, and professional features allows the AG-3DA1 to affordably address the emerging need for 3D content in broadcast, industrial, and educational applications.

Comments about Panasonic AG-3DA1 Integrated Twin-Lens 3D Camcorder:
I HAVE BEEN SHOOTING 3D WITH SPLIT RIGS AND SIDE BY SIDE, THIS CAMERA IS PRETTY GOOD BUT NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR A NETWORK LIKE DISCOVERY TO ACCEPT. MAYBE IF YOU USE A DISK RECORDER WITH THE HDSDI OUTPUT. NO ND FILTER WHEEL, MUST USE A MATT BOX THAT COST OVER $4K. THE WORKFLO IS GOOD FOR 3D, ITS VERY EASY BUT THE QUALITY OF THE IMAGES IS NOT GREAT, MUST USE A LOT OF LIGHT INDOORS AND ND FILTERS OUTDOORS. THE JVC 3D CAMERA IS A BETTER DEAL WITH THE AUTO CONVERGENCE THAT IT HAS. ALSO THE LENS ON THIS IS SMALL AND NOT WIDE ENOUGH, PANASONIC SAYS YOU CAN DO TRAVEL VIDEOS WITH THIS CAMERA, I ASK HOW? THE LENS IS LIKE A 22X LENS, CANT GET WIDE SHOTS.
Comments about Panasonic AG-3DA1 Integrated Twin-Lens 3D Camcorder:
3D technology is still very young.
The lens on this camera is very small, so there's not much depth of field.
It's also very slow in starting up and powering down. You have to give it a few seconds for it start and stop recording.
