Listec Teleprompters ENT-1717PT Entry-level VGA Studio Prompter (17")

The Listec ENT-1717PT Entry-level VGA Studio Prompter (17") consists of a 17'' LCD display with a 10' (3m) VGA cable, wide-angle trapezoidal fold-down mirror/soft hood assembly and an easy-mount support system with a camera riser and sliding rear counterbalance. In addition to a SXGA resolution of 1280 x 1024, brightness of 300 cd/m2, contrast ratio of 2000:1, and aspect ratio of 4:3, it can be used with portable ENG cameras weighing over 10 lb (4.5 kg). It is suitable for use when a composite signal is absent.

Lenses with a focal length of 4.5mm or higher are supported by the assembly, which also offers a viewing angle of 160° (horizontal/vertical). In addition to a Z-mount support system for mounting portable style cameras, it also includes a 5 lb (2.3kg) sliding rear counterbalance for evenly distributing the weight of the whole system on a pan-tilt head. The camera riser allows you to elevate the camera for getting high-angle shots. It includes either teleprompting software or an outboard image reverser for flipping the image on the external prompter display and maintains it in normal mode on the computer screen.
