I purchased this as a gift for my father, who is on the road a lot and likes to kill time watching DVDs. It had a big screen for a portable DVD player and he loves how you can watch TV shows and movies from a USB drive. Build quality seem on par with other, more expensive brands. I was looking for a portable DVD player for my kids so that my laptop wouldn't get damaged but the little ones just weren't big enough for all of my five kids to be able to be able to enjoy the movie. Then I found this great DVD player that is practically the same size as a small laptop and the kids love it. The swivel screen is handy so that little hands don't interfere with the buttons!
