The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the site/my phone would only let me choose 4 or less...

I adore this camera case. I took it on my first trip last week.

It may not have much padding, but this also means it's not bulky.

As long as you have a lens cap and don't throw it under a car...it seems like it will protect really well. The camera fits perfectly, so it won't be bouncing around.

The material is fabulous, not cheap looking as the other reviews said. The metal pieces are a beautiful matte bronze color. I bought the brown case.

The design is super cute and artistic. The engraved 'Olympus Pen' on the front is a great touch.

The closing snap is magnetic which makes it easy. It has a metal ring on the front making for an easy open, as well.

The strap is really comfortable and highly adjustable. You can wear the strap and case as a belt or around your chest/neck. There is also a loop on the back to thread your belt through. And...it comes with a cute little camera strap that matches.

I'm so happy I bought this case. Thanks!

Disclaimer: I am using this case with the PEN E-PL2, which it is not necessarily designed for. The E-PL2 fits in the case but VERY tightly; it does requires effort to shove it in and take it out with the kit lens. With a smaller lens it should be fine, however. The case looks great but is not all that functional. Even if the camera fits in the case well, and can be taken in/out easily, there's the question of the strap: If you use the neck-straps for the case, then you must use the wrist-strap for the camera. And if you use the neck-strap for the camera, you must hold you case somehow when the camera is out of it.Honestly, I only bought this case for the strap, which I now use with the camera and a different case. Not a bad deal for ~20 bucks.

Purchased for EPL-1 and 14-42mm kit lens. The case is very classy looking.

The camera and lens are a tight fit. Care must be taken when inserting and removing the camera because the lens cap tends to fall off because of the tight fit. There is a small pocket inside good enough to store the lens cap while shooting but, there is no room to store anything else like a spare SD card or battery.

It is a much better fit for the EPL-1 and my Panasonic 20mm 1.7 lens.

The shoulder strap is adjustable and even long enough to fit across one shoulder and your chest. I wore it for half a day while shooting at a state fair.

A matching wrist strap is also included.

There is no internal protection for the camera nor lens. It is simply a square case that will hold the body and lens tightly in place. If you are looking for a case you can access the camera quickly this case is not for you. If you are looking for padding to protect your equipment or pockets for storage this case is not for you. If you are clumsy or careless and tend to bang your stuff around while traveling or transporting your gear this case is not for you. If you have a rubber collapsible lens hood this case is not for you because it is a tight fit as is. The flap uses the snap on method to open and close. With the 14-42mm I am not worried about it falling out because of its tight fit but, with the Panny 20mm it looks probable that it might fall out if one is careless.

It looks cool and it is very reasonably priced for an Olympus accessory but, it is not practical if you need fast and quick access.

I initially bought this thinking it could fit a few filters and/or memory cards in addition to my E-PL1. Unfortunately, it just barely manages to fit THAT!

While this case offers an attractive, vintage aesthetic, I don't trust it. The sides are thin and there are two big gaps on the sides between the "lid" and the body.

Bottom line: this case is fine for just toting around town, but it will not protect or store much.

Great no-frills case to roam around town in style. Not the best as it's not roomy nor padded but practical enough. Has a small piece of leather to hold a SD card and feels solid.

Cute case, but too small for the EPL-2. I ended up exchanging it for the Lowepro ILC Compact Carrier

I was hesitant at first when reading reviews from multiple sites about this case, but I just kept coming back to it because of the vintage feel and price, but I'm glad I bought it!
It fits my Olympus PEN EPL-1 perfectly, it's not a tight fit, it's just a good fit. I didn't have to force the camera in and I had the standard included lens on it too. It also has a little pocket for an SD card. I take out the battery (to conserve the life) and just placed it inside along with the camera.

Low quality case does not protect the camera well.

The plastic material is thin and not hard.

The caes does not adequately cover the camera, with gaps, from the elements.

It is very difficult to place the camera in the case with the standard lens which it is supposedly designed to do. The case is undersized.

The case can not be used normally with the camera straps that are attached to the camera itself. There is not enough room in the case to hold the camera attached straps easily.

The case will not accept the camera with the viewfinder attached.

I rate the case next to useless. It is a fashion accessory rather than a protective case for relatively pensive well designed camera. It reminds me of the cheap cases used for Kodak Brownie cameras.

First of all, this item is not made of leather. It is a very cheap looking vinyl. Second, the flap does not close securely. This allows items to fall out. Lastly, there is only the single pocket, so no way to organize extra batteries, ets. I highly recommend that owners of a Pen consider another solution such as one of the Lowepro cases [ which are also sold by B&H, which is my favorite online camera store].

Great Style and perfect Fit ... I got the EPL-1 camera with the stock lens and the case is the one for it , beutyfull to the eye and soft to the feel , this camera case is a most for your investment...

got this case for the E-P2 but I have to use only the smallest lens and lose the neckstrap and Electronic Viewfinder to fit the camera inside. It comes with a small lanyard more useful for a economy point and shoot with minnimal heft. Don't get this if you desire room for anything but the bare bones. Cute though, I was looking forward to its arrival.

Well made and a very classic look makes this the perfect case for the PEN cameras. My EPL1 with either the kit lens or the 20mm Panasonic pancake fit perfectly.
