The Sony LMD-2110W is a 21.5" professional LCD monitor that's capable of tackling a wide range of viewing scenarios. As a cost-effective, entry level unit, this multi-format display is ideal for industry professionals interested in achieving CRT-level performance without giving up the space-saving benefits of a flat panel screen. Equipped with a wide array of video inputs, the LMD-2110W provides both analog and digital connectivity unparalleled in its price range. Inputs such as component, composite, and HDMI ensure the panel will perform in almost any SD or HD environment. This monitor can also handle SD-SDI input using an optional BKM-320D SD-SDI input adapter.
At the same time, its combination of RGB color filters and 10-bit signal processing provide stunning images with bright whites, saturated colors, and a smooth, CRT-like gamma. Add in a VESA standard mount with 100mm pattern--for simple wall installation--and you've got a pro monitor that will be right at home in a range of HD applications, including entry-level video editing, surveillance, and studio monitoring.

Comments about Sony LMD-2110W 21.5" Professional LCD Monitor:
After 2 years of use it will not display cleanly. Some lines are shifted right so a straight vertical line looks wavy. Have to find a replacement. Detail is not great.

Comments about Sony LMD-2110W 21.5" Professional LCD Monitor:
I have this baby hooked up to my Final Cut Pro edit suite. It is fed by a Matrox 02 box via HDMI cabling and it looks great. It has all the features I need to monitor my video is 10-bit HD. It has lived up to all my expectations and, try as I may, I cannot find anything about it I do not like. A++

Comments about Sony LMD-2110W 21.5" Professional LCD Monitor:
After trying this monitor for two hours I quickly realized I have to spend at least 3K to get a decent monitor in my studio, it shows no detail if your are producing HD content don't bother.

Comments about Sony LMD-2110W 21.5" Professional LCD Monitor:
very close in function and performance to Sony's bigger brother 2450W - but a quarter of the price!
very nice to have native 1920x1080 monitoring and all the basic you need in a broadcast monitor- blue only, underscan, ext sync
only downside, slight backlight bleed on top and bottom of screen, only visible on blacks
also, targets and frame generators not functional with HDMI inputs

I bought this product 4 years ago when it was around $1500. It was worth every penny. Combined with my Blackmagic Multibridge Pro I get real time HD playback in 10 bit.It also doubles as my HD TV.
