This is a great vest if loops are what you are looking for. Unfortunately I was hoping that there were more pockets available. There is one pocket on the inside and the rest of the vest consists of loops.

Size-wise it fit great, Im a slim 5'6" guy and it fit wonderfully. Great product if its what you are looking for. Wish I had enough pouches that velcro'ed open in order to mount on this vest!

My 3 star rating is based on Lowepro's specifications on fit, not functionality. I haven't received my vest yet, so when I do, and I put it to use, I'm sure my rating will change.

I'm a small[er] guy, and I measure 37" in the chest. I was concerned that this vest would be too big. So I ordered it blindly, as no stores in my area had it in stock to try on. Until recently. On a whim I checked out a place I rarely go to, and they happened to have the S/M size on a mannequin. I tried it on to see how it would fit my smallish frame. With the straps and shoulders adjusted to the maximum I found it too snug! I'd say this vest could easily fit a 35" chest with no problems.

I have no clue how Lowepro measures chest sizes, but if you're in the same size range as me, then don't let their 42"-50" size scare you off. This vest will fit you.

Lowe Pro's gear is always fantastic but this item takes it to a new level. This piece is built like a tank and has about as much firepower. Pair it up with the S & F DELUXE TECHNICAL BELT and you have the ability to be self sufficient and mobile on any photo / video / film production. The configurations are endless and you can really dial in your setup.

This is a nice apparel to have if you are a photo or video journalist. It is not complete by itself, so you will need to add an S&F series technical belt and at least two of the S&F series cases to have a complete set ready for action. Other small Lowepro cases are also compatible with the straps, so you're not limited down to just the s&f series.

Overall when used properly, you can keep essential items organized and ready for action. These include lenses, flashes, filters, only to name a few. Be sure to buy the cases that fit your needs. It sure beats carrying a backpack, sling pack or shoulder bag. Items can be distributed evenly around you and well balanced.

It has plenty of straps for plenty of cases to attach. But don't attach too many as many can get in the way of each other. Have at least one on the vest and one on the technical belt. When adding more cases, attach them to a different side of the vest or belt. Though additional pockets on the outside of the vest would be nice, you can use room in your case of choice to act as a substitute.
