Acratech 2177 Quick Release Plate for Canon 7D
The Acratech 2177 Quick Release Plate for Canon 7D is compatible with all Arca-Swiss style quick-release clamps, such as those from Arca, Foba, Kirk, and Wimberly. This plate was designed specifically to match the Canon 7D DSLR camera. Its glove-like fit maximizes the contact area with the bottom of the camera, thereby minimize the flexing of the camera body and preventing your 7D from rotating or otherwise moving on the plate.
The 2177 Quick Release Plate is ideal for lightweight tripod heads with Arca-style clamps, and it's intended for photography applications for which light weight and perfect fit are priorities.
- Designed to allow access to all camera controls and functions without removing the plate
- No groove is cut under the head of the mounting screws, which would weaken them at a point at which they are already most likely to break
- To reduce weight, there are no unnecessary threaded bosses or similar items
