This Acratech Arca-Type Quick Release Plate for Olympus E-P1, E-P2, E-PL1 is a camera-specific plate, designed to securely hold the Olympus E-P1, E-P2, or E-PL1 camera. It is compatible with any "Arca-Swiss" type quick release system (e.g. Arca-Swiss, Foba, Graff, Wimberley, etc.). Precision machined from T-6 aluminum, this high-quality plate features a satin black anodized finish, and is "Made in the USA".
- Compatible with all Arca-Swiss type quick release clamps (Foba, Arca, Kirk, Wimberly, etc)
- Designed to allow access to all camera controls and functions without removing the plate

[$] is too much for a piece of metal for a lightweight camera like Olympus Pen, but there aren't actually many options out there that are specifically designed for E-Px. Kirk makes one (universal for small cameras), as well as RRS, Markins, and maybe some others, but they all cost about the same. 4 stars because of the price, otherwise it fits well, looks and feels solid. Paying this price and more for a plate that goes onto a heavy expensive DSLR with big pricey glass is perfectly fine, but it's sort of overkill for E-Px.
