The Bose MIE2i In-Ear Mobile Headset picks up where the original Bose headset left off to offer an even more pleasurable listening experience. The headphones use a proprietary TriPort acoustic structure to provide greater low-frequency output than most conventional earbuds. An enhanced acoustic design incorporates a new port for smoother, more natural audio, and exceptionally clear vocals when on the phone. The inline microphone and 3-button remote allow you to make phone calls, take voice notes, play/pause music, skip tracks, and adjust volume levels on compatible smart phones and MP3 players, such as the iPhone and iPod touch.
The unique in-ear design and 3 sizes of StayHear interchangeable silicone eartips provide a stable, secure, and comfortable fit. The StayHear tips have a unique design that fits inside the bowl of the ear and naturally conforms to the ear's upper ridge. The in-ear design also provides isolation from environmental noise, allowing you to focus on your music. The unique black and white cable has enhanced flexibility and durability to withstand the rigors of daily use.

Sound is good for the price. I use to listen to music or podcast without disturbing others around me. Also to help me learn my part in a choral music group - I can hear my part better through the earbuds than through a speaker, can easily repeat a section with the inline control.
Some have said the wires are thin, but I've had no problems and find the product light weight, and easy to carry with when I travel.
I don't use the microphone to talk on my phone, so can't assess it.

Bought this with the intention for wearing over long periods daily and running.
I Was initially worried that the ear piece wouldn't be comfortable as it has the protruding earlock and it is bigger than the other in-ear headphones than I was used to.
The gel that Bose used to make the earlock is ultra soft and when I have it in the ear, it was super comfortable and very good at keeping the earphone on even when I'm running. In fact even though the earphones are bulky, I don't really feel them.
Only thing that I wish for to make this 100% satisfying, is if Bose make it to be noise isolating. As per the packaging it already says that it is NOT noise isolating, so there's no surprise. It's just a personal preference for when I'm listening to music

I just got the BOSE Headphones MIE2i with a fear whether I like it or not.Because I was disapointed with Apple iphone 4S headphones.They realy hurt the ears & sound like old radio.I played a song with good bass with apple headphones & then I connected the new BOSE mie2i with my Apple iphone 4s.There was a big difference of Sound Quality,bass & even low notes were so clear to listen which I was missing with apple headphones & sound quality even on full volume was 100% clear.Keep in mind this is for Apple products not for other phones or devices.Don't waste your time & money in market just buy it & it won't disappoint you because BOSE is real BOSS of all headphones in market.

I don't think you can buy a better set of headphones when looking at all features combined.
PROS:
- Comfort: Most comfortable you can find. You won't even know they're in your ear; even after hours of use
- Sound quality: Exactly what you would expect from BOSE
- Integrated speaker/ volume control: Perfectly responsive; not too much or too little
- Cord: doesn't tangle easily, and is on the longer side for those who keep their device in pants pocket
CON (only one):
- Volume level: too low. I suspect BOSE is trying to protect its customers, but when walking around the streets of Manhattan, sometimes you need a little extra just to hear. Especially with talk radio or audio book.
Overall I would absolutely recommend these over any other in-ear headset.

As expected, these are great headphones. Have to retrun this pair as they are specific to the apple products but I have android. The only slight issue is with small ear openings, earphones don't always fit perfectly in the ear but it's not a deal breaker in the least.
