Comments about Iomega SuperSpeed USB 3.0 eGo Portable Hard Drive (500GB, Ruby Red):
My system crashed recently and I was left without any backup to revive my work. Sadly I did not think of a backup device to store my data. This has cost me a lot. The hardware engineer who came to format my disk suggest that I use an external hard drive to backup vital data from the computer from time to time to avoid falling prey to disk failure.
After a few suggestions from friends and colleagues I decided to give Iomega eGo portable hard drive a try. It's about a week since I bought this device online and the file transfer speed is appreciable. I am able to schedule backup using the Roxio Retrospect Express Backup software. The Protection Suit software protects my disk from threats. I am happy with my new invention and I still wonder why I did not think of it before. Well never too late.

Really like the small size and light weight... For Mac users there is a little additional set-up that you need to be aware of that only takes 5 minutes. Otherwise the Portable Hard Drive works great!
