I use this LaserJet's print and scan functions but do not send faxes. This HP prints a very nice professional document suitable for any presentation, even on fancy paper, and it does a very good job as a scanner, while giving the impression that it will last longer than I'll probably need it. The user interface is excellent and convenient. I wouldn't complain if it printed faster but high volume production printing is not the intended application, and it's plenty fast enough for the way I use it in my home office. It wasn't cheap but I'm a big believer in "you get what you pay for" and I'm confident that in two or three years I'll look back on this purchase as a very good decision.

Very disappointed in this printer. When it works, it's great for a small business or home office. But, the real trick is to get it to work. I have spent countless hours with HP tech support to try and fix the following problems: document feeder, usb connection and scanning issues. After many hours and many phone calls, they sent me a replacement printer. And I just got off the phone after another 2 hour troubleshooting call with HP to try and fix scanning problems on the replacement product...having owned several HP printers and been happy with all of them, I have to say I've been disappointed and very aggravated by this one. And since this is a more expensive printer, I did not anticipate having to spend this kind of time to get it to be functional. I'd also say that the HP tech support has been spotty...overall not a good experience.

Used for home office. Good quality prints, copies, haven't used scan or fax function yet. The setup was amazingly easy and only took 30 minutes even for a non-techie type.

Good for home use with a child in school -- however, you can not scan to a file fro the printer itself. Prints slow - but for home use - that's fine. the user navigation screen is very easy to use. the best on the market when selecting what you want to do - Fax, Scan, print. . etc

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw Color Multifunction Laser Printer - Wireless:
I wanted a multifunction device for the home office. The great thing is it's an HP. I have had much success with HP over the years. The not so great thing is it's one of HP's Ho-Hum devices. Although print quality is decent, it's incredibly slow, even for around the home. I'm comparing it's speed to an HP Laserjet CP2025DN that I currently have, which is not the fastest in the world, but the difference is brutal in favor of the CP2025DN. It has an incredibly small paper tray capacity and a virtually non-existent manual feeder. My biggest issue is it's not well supported in Linux yet. This especially applies to the scanner function. I finally got it to print, but not scan. The upside to this is that Linux support(along with a little help from device manufacturers) is almost always evolving for the good, so it's only a matter of time. But, it's still not worth disgracing my PC with Windows just to get full functionality. That's assuming that it works "completely" in Windows. So RMA it is.

Got our printer for the office. Prints well and the networking was easy. The scanning is pretty quick but the pretty is quite slow, and it doesnt hold very much paper at all. So far so good though.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw Color Multifunction Laser Printer - Wireless:
Had it for about 2 weeks. But setup was easier than I thought. Has some issues with scanning, as we suddenly had to scan many pages from a book. Some trouble in figuring out how to scan multiple pages into a single document. Once we figured out, it was a breeze.
Big Negative is:
My previous Dell MFP could scan to a specific PC from the scanner itself. In case of this printer, scanner, I had to hold the pages and click the icon on the PC. Thats is pretty cumbersome each time. They should release firmware to fix this dependency to click on PC while you are standing at the scanner.

I have a CM2320 and this CM1415 is a replacement. The cost of operations is similar to the more professional CM2320, while the wireless connectivity is a major advantage for home use. I did not know how much I depends on this option now!
