The printer was easy to setup and install. I install the printer on a Peer to Peer network. I was able to print from all three of my computers, including one on a wireless network with no problems after setup. One computer was a Windows XP machine the other two were Windows 7 machines.
To test the printer features, I printed the 200 page user's guide on 50 sheets using the duplexer and printer options. I had one problem when installing the 256MB of additional memmory. The printer would tell me I had defective memory. After several trys I manage to get the memory install corectly.
This HL-4150CDN is a great printer, I am 100% please with the purchase of this printer.

Great product - a little big and a little loud, but nothing unusual from a fairly fast laser printer. I have yet to see ink usage, but so far the print quality has been great when just set to normal.

This printer was purchased for the office of a small company that does occasional color printing. We are VERY pleased with the printing quality and the longevity of the toner. The printer warms up very quickly out of a 'deep sleep' to print and there is very little delay when printing large file documents over the network. We would definitely recommend this to anyone in need of a quality laser printer that is inexpensive.

Bought this for light-duty home use. It works very well. It's quiet and simple, which for me is a good thing.
Note to Mac users, you may not need to use the disc that comes with it in order to connect to it. Just open Printers in System Preferences, click the "+", and it should show up as a CUPS printer. If you need drivers it will download them from Apple for you. Quick & easy!
On the downside it takes a while to warm up & generate print jobs if it's been off or idle. Not a problem for me or most home users, but it might be for someone else.
I have not used this for photos yet so I can't report on that. But print quality on plain paper is good.
In all, I'm very happy with this printer. A much better deal than other brands like HP.

I print 300-400 color copies a week and love my brother printers. This is my 4th one over the years. They are fast and easy to manage.
My only complaint is the way the toner is alloted. The toner usage is alloted by print number and not by actual usage so if you don't use a lot of a color in your prints, it could say you are out when it is still a quarter full. This is standard in the industry but I think there should be an override. They always get you in the toner. :(

This is the first brother printer I bought and I totally loved it. The printer is not as huge and heavy as most printers with comparable functions do. When the printer just started up, it might be a bit noisy but once it enters sleep mode, it's as quiet as a sleeping baby.
